On September 1st, 2021, on the work site near Kolobar village in Dulovo Municipality, Kaolin EAD - part of the German concern "Quarzwerke" - held a working meeting in connection with the start of a project tof the project for the development of "Kolobar" deposit for underground resources. Dr. Wolf Harlfinger, CEO of the company presented the multimedia development of the project. It became clear that Kaolin EAD will develop two 35-year concessions - Kolobar and Balabana deposits. The investment in the new plant for the processing of quartz-kaolin raw material, which will be built in Dulovo town, will exceed 50 million euros. The meeting was attended by Dr. Yuksel Ahmed - Dulovo Municipality Mayor, Eng. Nevhis Mustafa - Dulovo Municipality Chairmen, Dimitar Angelov - Executive Director, municipal councilors, mayors of settlements of the Municipality, employees of the company. With special rituals and prayers for gratitude, health and well-being, Metropolitan Jacob of Dorostol, together with priests from the diocese and local khojas from Taslakovo and Kolobar villages, gave blessings at the beginning of the project for the development of "Kolobar" deposit for underground resources. As tradition dictates, to all those present were were "kurban" - a sacrificial feast and a special Dobrudzha bread, for health and prosperity.
