With the full financial support of KAOLIN EAD more than 160 children from "Shtastlivo detstvo" kindergarten in Vetovo town will enjoy a new playground, built on its territory. The project is worth BGN 50,000 and was implemented on a joint initiative with the Municipality of Vetovo. The facilities on the playground, as well as the flooring, meet all modern safety regulatory requirements.
On September 17th, the grand opening of the playground took place at a modest ceremony, at which Mr. Wolf Harlfinger - CEO of KAOLIN EAD, presented Dr. Mehmed Mehmed - Mayor of Vetovo town and kindergarten principal, with the contract for donation of the playground. Thereby, the playground officially becomes the property of Vetovo Municipality. According to Mr. Harlfinger - "Investing in the health and happiness of our children is the most meaningful investment and is closest to the heart of each and every one of us."
Mr. Mehmed gratefully accepted the donation and stressed out that this project is a part of the joint initiatives between the Municipality of Vetovo and Kaolin, an expression of the good mutual understanding and a clear sign that neither the Municipality can do without KAOLIN, nor KAOLIN can do without the Municipality. Congratulations and thanks to the donor were sent as well by Mrs. Galya Ahmakova - Director of the kindergarten.
The opening was attended by the entire educational staff of "Shtastlivo detstvo" kindergarten, employees of KAOLIN and of course - the children from the kindergarten, who will use the playground for safe and fun games and who were surprised to receive gifts and treats from the hands of their favorite characters from animated movies, embodied by the animators from "Veselyatzite" group from Ruse city.
This is another donation gesture of KAOLIN EAD towards the youngest, as for the last few years children from several settlements in Vetovo and Dulovo Municipality enjoyed new playgrounds and outdoor fitness equipment, built with the financial support of the company. With a full awareness of its responsibilities aimed at the people, the environment and the natural resources, the company, which since 2013 is 100% owned by the German concern Quarzwerke, based in Frechen, strives to operate in line with its company policy: We work with a care for the people, with a care for the nature, with a care for the values!
