The dates of March 24, 25 and 26, 2020 will not only be remembered in the history of the largest career forum in Bulgaria - "National Career Days" and its organizer - JobTiger, but will also be remembered by many companies who traditionally participate in booths of this kind of career fairs. This year, measures taken by the Bulgarian government to curb the COVID-19 epidemic, including a ban on outdoor and indoor mass events, led to the decision to hold the forum virtually.

The traditional and the the innovative have merged into one familiar format from the past nineteen years, in which on the specially built for the purpose branded booths were presented by employer companies to potential job applicants who came in person and were able to obtain the desired information about vacancies and internships, logically transitioned into the virtual area. This way, the organizers, participating companies and visitors were able to safely and without the need for a physical visit to experience the first ever "Virtual National Career Days".

The Virtual Career Forum also proved to be a good alternative for Kaolin EAD as one of the most established and large employers in the mining industry in Northeastern Bulgaria. The first virtual participation for us, not only at a career forum, but in general at the exhibition, we received with undisguised curiosity and enthusiasm. As our company adheres to social distance recommendations during the state of emergency, we have branded our virtual booth entirely from home, giving information about the company and the open positions for our summer 2020 internship program.

In this way, we enabled potential interested parties to "recognize" us as a potential employer and to ask their questions through a 10-minute chat with us, and accordingly declare their interests, desires and intentions for short or long-term employment with us. Our interesting virtual meetings and conversations with candidates from different professional fields give us a reason to think that we have potential future colleagues looking for a job or wanting to work with us.

"Thank you for joining the" Virtual National Career Days 2020! ". With these words, JobTiger turned to us - employers operating in all sectors of the Bulgarian economy and job applicants participating in the Career Forum.

Even in times of such severe economic trials as we currently find ourselves in the wake of the crisis with the spread of the coronavirus, the business needs support and hope for its future!
