At the General Assembly of the Scientific and Technical Union of Mining, Geology and Metallurgy held on 10th of May 2019 in city of Sofia, Kaolin EAD received a seat in the Management Board of the organization.
STU MGM is an association bringing together over 1,500 scientists and experts in the field of mining, geology and metallurgy, which supports the scientific developments, the exchange of knowledge and experience and the establishment of international contacts of its members with other related organizations and specialists from all over the world. The Association organizes regular scientific conferences and other forums, where information, good practices and the latest achievements of the scientists, specialists and companies from the respective professional fields are presented.
MB STUMGM is a member of the Federation of Scientific and Technical unions in Bulgaria.
The membership of KAOLIN EAD in STU MGM was restored in 2018, with the management of the Company hoping that our specialists will actively benefit from the opportunity to express, gain experience and getting acquainted with the achievements of their colleagues from Bulgaria and abroad. The membership of KAOLIN EAD was warmly welcomed by the members of STU MGM, and the immediate involvement of the Company in the Managing Authority of the Union is an acknowledgment of the importance that the sector attributes to the Company.
The General Assembly elected the long-standing chairman of the Union - Prof. Eng. Tzolo Vutov, as honorary chairman, and for the new chairman - Mrs. Dr. Kremena Dedelyanova.
