KAOLIN EAD made yet another donation for the Dulovo Hospital
On the eve of the bright holiday of Easter, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the Dulovo Hospital received a donation of equipment from Kaolin EAD. This is another donation gesture that the company makes to the Dulovo hospital. Two years ago, Kaolin EAD donated equipment for the surgical ward.
Obstetrics and Gynecology Department received an ANASONIK-C5Pro ultrasound scanner with two transducers - convex (3C6C) and endovaginal (6E1C). The scanner has a video printer "Mitsubishi" P93E. The department also got an electric knife "Kentamed hARTT 300" with a standard set of accessories and a bipolar clamp.
Dr. Lyubomir Minkov, head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Multi-profile hospital for active treatment said that this equipment will improve diagnostics and facilitate the operational activities of the ward. In this way, making more accurate diagnoses (through the scanner) and if surgery is necessary (through the electric knife) saves time, reduces the risk of complications and blood loss, shortens the duration of the operation. "This is a huge help for us as a team, but especially for the patients from the Municipality and the nearby settlements and from the neighboring areas. I have been an obstetrician-gynecologist for 26 years and over the years we have always had a problem with the technical support of our activity. Time shows that without the technologies in medicine and their real application in our daily practice we are not competitive. Therefore, I would like to thank the initiator for this donation - Dr. Yuksel Ahmed, Mayor of Dulovo Municipality and especially the donors from "KAOLIN" EAD. With this technique the ward is ready to meet the constantly growing number of patients in AGO-Dulovo and their expectations and requirements for quality medical care.
The manager of Multi-profile hospital for active treatment -Dulovo, Dr. Konstantin Popov, emphasized that this is a great benefit for AGO and the hospital, thus making a much better, more accurate diagnostic activity and, above all, improving and increasing the quality of treatment and medical care of patients. "I want to remind you again that we serve not only the residents of the 27 settlements of Dulovo municipality, but also the people from the neighboring municipalities. Another act of donation of "KAOLIN" EAD increases the quality of our activities as a whole and is a sign of trust in us and our responsible work in the name of protecting the health and lives of people."
From the beginning of 2018 until now, 33 babies have cried in the Dulovo Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
