Our experience and proficiency in mining and processing of silica sand is more than 80 years. We produce and sell more than
1.5 million tones per year for more than 50 different applications.
For glass industry we produce grades covering the highest requirements of producers of flat and container glass. Our sand for
crystal glass has content of FeO2 less than 0.015 %.
The producers achieve best results with our sands for ceramic bodies and glazes.
For construction sector we produce both silica sands with standard applications – for dry mixtures and concrete and also
purified and classified products with specific characteristics for specific applications – white dry mixtures, water filters,
golf pitches, tennis courts, etc.
Special grades of classified and fine silica sand have been appraised by our customers in casting industry as qualities equal
to the products of the most famous European producers.
We developed series of new products which contribute directly and indirectly to increasing the energy efficiency of our
customers. With this purpose we created fine grades of wet classified silica sand which can be directly used as fillers or in
ceramic bodies without additional grinding which is usually a very energy consuming process.
