The Economic Group of Kaolin Plc Reports a 20 % Incomes Growth Compared to the Same Period of the Previous Year
During the first six months of 2008 Kaolin Plc has generated consolidated incomes from sales to the amount of BGN 66 684 000 compared to BGN 54 765 000 for the same period of 2007. Compared to the individual incomes of the company for the first six months of 2008 the rest of the group has added incomes to the amount of BGN 9 668 000.
The consolidated profit to the amount of BGN 5 754 000, generated by the end of the first six months reports a growth of more than twice the result /BGN 1 819 000/ of the Group by March 31st 2008. The Serbian companies Kopovi and Serbokvarc as well as the Ukrainian company PKSP has continuously contributed mostly to the consolidated profit for the second quarter.
The generated sales on consolidated basis are in full compliance with the prognosis of the management as of the beginning of this year. Together with the incomes growth, the Group also reports a good operational result amounting to approximately BGN 6.7 mln despite the price increase of the power carriers and the depreciation of the US dollar, which were observed during the first six months.
