A Competence Development Project Has Started in Kaolin

Over 70 employees of Kaolin AD will be trained on the project “Development of competences”. Its object is to improve the quality of the human resources and job perspectives, guarantee steady employment of the employees, improve the productivity and increase the competitiveness.
Within this development, Kaolin managers will be trained on key competences according to the approved “Competence model”. The courses will be directed to the adoption of knowledge and skills for efficient communication, leadership and motivation, team work, goal focusing, management of labour performance, conflicts management etc.
A part of the team of the mining company for industrial minerals will train in English, and the other one – in Romanian language. The planned foreign language training is imposed due to the emergence of foreign markets being important for the company and will enroll specialists in close relationships with clients and suppliers. Other employees will gain professional abilities in “Prospecting drilling” specialty. They will also get a professional qualification certificate. Studies will be carried out in the newly-set up Kaolin’s Center of Professional Training which is licensed by the National Agency of Professional Education and Training.
The approach of continuous development of the human resources, to be applied in the company, is based on the successful European practices for personnel training and follows the principles of learning for life.
Kaolin’s “Development of competences” project will last 12 months and is approved under the first scheme of funding the Operative program for Human Resources Development.
