Kaolin Ad

On December 13, 2007 Kaolin AD acquired 100 % of the equity of M.I.D AL Shpk., Albania. The Company’s subject of activity is extraction of industrial minerals and it is also one of the leading limestone producers within the country. The Company is currently exploiting a quarry in the immediate vicinity of Tirana. The main part of its production is intended to be utilized in construction.

The present investment in Albania is a successive step in the implementation of Kaolin AD’s strategy for expansion of its market presence in the dynamically developing markets in the region of Southeastern Europe. Kaolin AD already owns companies in Serbia, Ukraine and Romania.
